Avalanche Activity

Light snowfall. As the day progresses as a consequence of the new snow there will be an increase in the avalanche danger within the current danger level.

On very steep northeast, north and northwest facing slopes and above approximately 2500 m individual small loose snow slides are possible as a consequence of the new snow. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area light snowfall to above 1500 m. Over a wide area only a little snow is lying. In very isolated cases weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on steep shady slopes. This applies especially above approximately 2500 m.
