Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain generally frozen and stable. It will begin to soften later on Sunday as the freezing level starts to rise. Cornice collapse and ice fall will become an increasing hazard later in the day. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain generally dry and cold; however later on Sunday, the freezing level will rise above the summits and winds will become strong from the South-West. Observed Weather Influences: There was a very light dusting of snow overnight above 500 metres. Today was a dry day with light winds. ObservedSnowStability: Recent very light snowfall has not produced any significant accumulations. The snowpack is generally well bonded and stable. Ice fall noted on steep slopes exposed to the sun. The avalanche hazard is Low.
