Avalanche Activity

In many cases the avalanches are small and can mostly only be released by large loads.

Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls mostly small wind slabs formed. Even in relatively flat terrain there is a danger of falling on the icy crust.

Snowpack Structure

Wind slabs are lying mostly on the smooth surface of an old snowpack. Over a wide area from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
