Avalanche Activity

Gradual increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.

In the regions with a lot of snow the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses. As the day progresses in particular on steep sunny slopes there will be a gradual increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches. Some medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches are possible. This applies in particular in case of a large load.

Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack. Weak layers exist in the snowpack.

Tendency

In some localities light precipitation.
