Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevations unstable soft slabs one to three feet in depth exist. With temperatures aloft on the increase in the early morning hours and new snow in the forecast for the afternoon the potential for humans to trigger these slabs on steep wind loaded aspects will increase as the day progresses. At the lower elevations warm temperatures and rain will have a destabilizing effect on the existing shallow snowpack, however avalanches are unlikely except in isolated pockets.
