Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations dense and hard slabs up to four feet in depth persist on steep wind loaded aspects. These slabs lie upon a slick crust and the possibility continues for backcountry users to trigger their release in avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. At low elevations overninght freezing did not occur and the chance for wet loose and wet slab avalanches exists on steep slopes. Wet slide activity could also occur at the mid and upper elevations if rapid warming occurs particularly on sunlit slopes.
