Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard is LOW today at all elevations. At the upper elevations, isolated pockets of soft surface slabs that vary in depth to eighteen inches could be triggered in very steep terrain where they lie upon hard crusts formed during recent sun and warming. Low hazard does not mean no hazard exists and even these small slabs could have have severe consequenses in "extreme" terrain.
