Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the early morning hours and will quickly increase to MODERATE as conditions warm. Very warm early morning temperatures exist at the upper elevations. These warm temperatures and abundant sunshine will combine to rapidly warm the snowpack and increase the hazard. The potential to trigger hard slabs up to four feet in depth on steep avalanche prone slopes and for wet slides to occur on very steep sunlit aspects will increase as the snowpack softens.
