Points saillants
Colder temperatures have hardened the upper snowpack at all elevations. As this cooling occurred new snow has been deposited on the surface. This new snow is adhereing well to the crust below. At mid and upper elevations, isolated pockets of slab to a foot in depth could be triggered on steep wind loaded slopes. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely, where few slopes contain old snow and little snow has been added.
