Avalanche Activity

In all aspects and in places that are protected from the wind only isolated small snow slides and avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day.

Thus far only isolated moist snow slides are possible as the day progresses in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.

Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions will give rise to increasing softening of the snowpack over a wide area. In addition the rather small wind slabs in places that are protected from the wind are prone to triggering in very isolated cases.
