Avalanche Activity

The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger. Danger level 2 (moderate) will be reached.

Avalanches can be released, even by a single winter sport participant. On steep north facing slopes medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches are possible. In addition the visible wind slabs in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls are prone to triggering in some locations.

Snowpack Structure

The new snow represents the main danger. Above the tree line adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls: Avalanches can be released by a single winter sport participant, but they can reach medium size.
