Points saillants
At mid and upper elevations new snow and strong winds have deposited slabs to a foot in depth on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs lie on a hard melt-freeze crust and could be triggered today by backcountry users. At low elevations the precipitation was in the form of rain where wet loose and wet slab avalanches could be human triggered on steep snow covered slopes.
