Points saillants

At the mid and upper elevatios hard slabs to five feet in depth lie upon weak layers of faceted snow and crusts. These slabs have the potential to be human triggered today on steep avalanche paths particularly near cliff and rocky areas on North to East aspects. These slabs may fail when a skier or rider hits a trigger point even after the slope has been crossed several times. If released these slabs could carry serious consequesnces. At the lower elevations avalanches are unlikely today.
