Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE below an elevation of 8,000 feet and MODERATE above that elevation. An unstable wet loose snowpack exists at the lower elevations. With warm temperatures and rain in the forecast wet snow avalanches are possible on steep snow covered slopes. Avalanches are less likely above an elevation of 9,000 feet where temperatures are cooler, however some potential exist for humans to trigger slab avalanches in very steep avalanche prone terrain.
