Points saillants
Unseasonably warm mountain daytime temperatures and warm overnight lows have warmed the snowpack to Spring-like conditions. As the snow heats up today natural and user triggered slides will be possible on sunny slopes. As warming occurs snow falling from ridgecrests and cliffs may initiate slides. Yesterday a large, destructive natural avalanche ran in No Name canyon. The slide ran on an old crust layer one to two feet deep in the snow.
