On a variety of aspects and elevations, skiers and riders have the potential to trigger deep persistent slab avalanches, and natural activity may still be possible. As the day warms, these destructive avalanches will become more prone to failure, and involvement will likely result in a fatality. They could also step down from the release of a wet slide. Above 8,000 feet, slab depths are likely to range from 4 to 8 feet and 2 to 4 feet below 8,000 feet.
