Points saillants

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist at the mid and upper elevations. Unstable soft and hard slabs two to five feet in depth exist on a variety of aspects and are sensitive to human triggers. As the day progresses the hazard will increase on sunlit aspects. Rising temperatures and sunshine will increase the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers and present some potential for natural releases. The consequences of involvement with one of these slabs could by fatal. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
