Avalanche Summary

You may encounter small amounts of wind-drifted snow on east-facing slopes. These small accumulations should be easy to manage unless you find one over a foot deep. On just the right slope, you could trigger a small avalanche that knocks you down or carries you downslope. Wind-sheltered areas will provide much safer riding options.
