Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists, however, DANGEROUS very deep slabs lie on steep slopes with northerly aspects above 8000'. Many such slabs naturally released in the Tetons over the last several days and await triggers today by snowmobilers, skiers, and snowboarders. On other aspects isolated pockets of slab could be triggered on steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas
