Points saillants
Pockets of slab up to 3 feet in depth at upper elevations lie on weak layers of faceted snow and slick crusts. These slabs and loose snow sluffs could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Aside from loose snow sluffs and shallow isolated pockets of soft slab, avalanches are unlikely at the mid and lower elevations.
