The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above an elevation of 8,500 feet and LOW below that elevation. At the mid and upper elevations skiers and riders could trigger slab avalanches in steep terrain. Avalanches are not expected at the lower elevations.
Surface slabs up to two feet in depth could be human triggered in steep terrain. In isolated areas on steep northerly aspects above an elevation of 9,000 feet there may remain some potential for these slabs to step down to the ground.
