Points saillants
Backcountry travelers could trigger soft slabs and loose snow sluffs up to three feet in depth on steep, mid and upper elevation starting zones. These avalanches have the potential to entrain significant amounts of loose snow, and could carry skiers or riders long distances. If mostly clear skies prevail throughout the day, these slides will be easier to initiate in the afternoon, along with the chance of shallow wet slides on lower elevation, sunlit aspects.
