Avalanche Summary

Snow accumulations will be uneven, both from snow falling in showers and from a bit of wind blowing it around. Watch for spots with more than about eight inches of new snow on very steep, snow covered slopes. That combination may produce avalanches that could sweep you over cliffs or into rocks. On Thursday similar spots will be primed to shed snow in loose avalanches.
