Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE and will INCREASE as temperatures rise. Soft slabs up to two feet deep formed by northwest winds exist. These slabs could be human triggered today in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and have potential to step down to deeper layers especially on very steep northerly aspects. Very warm temperatures will increase the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers and could cause wet loose and wet slabs avalanche events in the afternoon.
