Danger d’avalanche
Avalanche Summary
It is becoming harder to trigger avalanches as the pattern of warm days and solid freezes overnight continues. Although triggering an avalanche is unlikely, it is not impossible. Above treeline, watch for shooting cracks and collapsing just below ridgelines, in gullies and cross-loaded terrain. This is a good indication to stay on lower-angled slopes.
At lower elevations, if you feel yourself beginning to punch through a wet snowpack, move to shady or less steep terrain.
