Forecast Weather Influences: Dry, cold and clear overnight; sunny during the day though expected to be cold in persistently shaded areas. Observed Weather Influences: Cold, clear, dry. Milder in the sun during the day. Very light mainly Easterly winds. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snowpack is stable in all locations. Heavily shaded old snow patches stayed hard and frozen all day; sun-exposed snow at lower altitudes softened a little later. The avalanche hazard is Low.
