Points saillants

Some mostly small gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible as a consequence of warming during the day. The wind slabs can be released in isolated cases, but mostly only by large additional loads, in all aspects.

Avalanche Activity

Some mostly small gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible as a consequence of warming during the day. The wind slabs can be released in isolated cases, but mostly only by large additional loads, in all aspects.

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation moist and wet avalanches are possible from the early morning, but they will be mostly small. This applies especially on rocky slopes. Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and on very steep slopes small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized dry slab avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

As a consequence of rising temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface. This applies in particular on steep slopes below approximately 2200 m. Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls rather small wind slabs formed.
