Avalanche Activity

Wind slabs and wet snow represent the main danger.

As a consequence of the precipitation, the likelihood of wet avalanches being released will increase in particular on steep slopes. In all aspects small and medium-sized avalanches are possible. Gliding avalanches are possible. Avalanches can as before be released, in particular by large loads.

Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing softening of the snowpack over a wide area.

The weather will be clear at times over a wide area.
