With increasing winds tomorrow, any loose snow will be transported to new small slab avalanche conditions. Look for blowing snow and adjust your route to the increasing hazard.
Winds are forecast to increase tomorrow, which in turn will increase the wind slab hazard. Combined with forecast new snow, the hazard will require good route selection skills for any backcountry travel. Consider runout zones, as the new snow totals get larger, there is enough snow on the ground now for avalanches to run into the valleys.

80mm of rain has fallen in Arthur's Pass in the last week, with the freezing level at about 2000m and gale-force NW winds. The second half of the storm turned easterly, but only 15cm of new snow fell at lower elevations. Snow cover was zero below 2000m before the storm system and limited above 2000m.
Occasional rain, becoming persistent and heavier in the evening. Snow lowering to 1600 metres in the afternoon. Possible thunderstorms from evening. Winds Northwesterly 50 km/h, rising to gale 70 km/h in the morning, then to severe gale 90 km/h for a time in the afternoon and early evening. Freezing level 1400 metres, lifting to 1700 metres in the afternoon.
Expect firm areas from the sun melting and then the surface refreezing at night. Crampons and ice axe a good idea for ridge travel.
