A very large quantity of fresh snow as well as the sometimes large wind slabs are prone to triggering in all aspects. The fresh snow and the wind slabs can be released very easily. In these regions more large avalanches are possible. As a consequence of warming and solar radiation, the natural activity of moist and wet avalanches will gradually increase. This applies in particular on steep slopes especially at low and intermediate altitudes. As before, it is inadvisable to engage in ski touring, freeriding and snowshoe hiking.

Over a wide area 100 to 150 cm of snow, and up to 180 cm in some localities, has fallen since Saturday. The moderate wind has transported the new snow. The new snow has settled a little at low and intermediate altitudes. Intermediate and high altitudes: Individual weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on shady slopes.

The avalanche activity will gradually decrease.
