Points saillants

The early season snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely. Normal caution is advised. In isolated areas, a very slight possibility remains for backcountry travelers to trigger small, shallow surface slabs.

Avalanche Discussion

Expect mostly clear skies overnight and into Sunday before cloud cover increases ahead of an approaching Pacific trough. Overnight lows in the mountains will be in mid-teens before rising into the mid to upper 20s during the day.
