Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche on many slopes that face northwest through north to east. You can trigger them from a distance, so be aware of steep slopes above you and other parties nearby. If you are traveling on generally north-facing terrain, avoid slopes steeper than about 30 degrees.

Rain at lower elevations on Wednesday will make it easy to trigger loose avalanches in the wet snow. Avoid sustained steep slopes, especially above terrain traps such as a creek or a cliff.
