    Probabilité

    Taille
    1–2

In isolated areas at the mid and upper elevations hard slabs lie upon faceted snow and hard crusts, which formed in January. Some potential may remain for humans, especially those on snowmachines, to trigger hard slab avalanches up to two feet in depth in steep terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

Skies will be clear overnight and into the morning hours. Patchy areas of morning valley fog are possible. Some mid and high level clouds are expected during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will remain cool with overnight lows in the single digits and teens and daytime highs rising into the teens and 20s. Winds will be northwest at 12 to 17 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely except in isolated areas.
