Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are safe from avalanches. Avoid steep slopes where you sink into the snowpack past your ankles or the snowpack collapses under your weight. The most likely place to find conditions like this, and trigger an avalanche, is in thin snowpack areas, near the snowmelt line, and in rocky, steep areas.
Avoid traveling below or near the edge of cornices as they warm over the weekend.
