The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. Temperatures have dropped well below freezing, hardening the old snow surface. New snow has been added to this crust and should be bonding well. However, new snow avalanches could be triggered today in isolated pockets of slab to a foot in depth on steep wind loaded slopes at upper elevations.
