Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the early morning hours and will rapidly increase to CONSIDERABLE. Warming temperatures and sunshine will soften surface melt-freeze crusts and increase the hazard as the day progresses. Once crusts soften and lose thier strengh wet slides could occur on a variety of aspects at all elevations. These wet slides could step down to the ground or buried layers of weak faceted snow. Avoid steep slopes, gullies and avalanche runout zones after crusts soften.
