Points saillants
Additional snow loading and very high southerly ridgetop winds have increased the hazard of slabs to 12" in the new snow on northerly, wind loaded slopes. Beneath the new snow, pockets of soft slab up to three feet in depth exist at the mid & upper elevations especially on northerly aspects. These slabs could be human triggered on steep or cliff areas that have not had recent avalanche activity. At the lower elevations the avalanche hazard is low. Be aware of terrain traps.
