Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches on Friday. A good overnight freeze, and cool high temperatures will keep the threat of wet avalanche activity at bay. Remember that LOW danger (Level 1 of 5) does not mean no danger.

You may find trapdoor conditions and the potential for small loose wet avalanches on isolated slopes below about 10,000 feet in the afternoon. There are also many large sagging cornices. Predicting exactly when these might fail is very difficult, so avoid traveling under them, and give them a wide berth on ridgelines to reduce your risk.
