Skiers and riders could trigger these easily identifiable slabs in steep, wind loaded terrain. Avoid freshly deposited areas of wind slab. With near freezing overnight temperatures at the lower elevations, extended periods of rain in the valley could result in shallow, wet loose sluffs.
