Points saillants
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. Pockets of surface slab formed by wind up to a foot in depth lie and could be triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche paths at the higher elevations. The unerlying hard slab that ranges from one to three feet in depth and lies on faceted snow has become mostly stable and harder to trigger, however the possibility exists to release such a slab if a hard to predict sensitive spot is found and the size and consequences of such a slab could be severe.
