Points saillants

At the upper elevations, backcountry travelers could trigger dense surface slabs up to two feet deep in very steep, wind loaded avalanche terrain. Temperatures have been very warm over the past 2 days, with near or above freezing lows at the mid and lower elevations. These warm temperatures, along with a chance of valley rain showers, will result in the possibility of wet slides below 9,000 feet. These slides have some potential to release to the ground. Evaluate the snow and terrain carefully and use good travel habits.
