Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard at all elevations will be LOW in the early morning hours and rapidly increase to MODERATE and then CONSIDERABLE as temperatures warm and snow surfaces soften. The potential for dangerous natural wet loose and wet slab avalanche activity will rapidely increase on steep snow covered slopes as the day progresses. In addition the potential for dangerous dry slab avalanches to be human triggered will develop on very steep shaded aspects. These slabs (wet or dry) are likely to fail on buried layers of weak facted snow and could step down to the ground. Avoid travel on or beneath steep slopes after snow surfaces soften.
