Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations isolated pockets of soft surface slab up to a foot in depth lie upon a slick crust. These shallow slabs were formed by northwest winds and could be human triggered in steep avalanche starting zones and cliff areas with fresh deposits of wind blown snow. Caution is advised. Very little snow exists at the lower elevations.
