Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow and strong varying winds, combined with recent snowfall has deposited soft slabs to two feet in depth on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs lie upon a weak faceted snowpack. These slabs could be triggered by riders and skiers in steep avalanche terrain and have the potential to step down to deeper layers.
