Points saillants

Overnight temperatures stayed above freezing at the mid and lower elevations and fell into the lower 30's at the highest elevations. The snowpack is expected to quickly soften in the morning hours. The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE in the morning and will increase to CONSIDERABLE as the day warms. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible on steep snow covered slopes at all elevations with the potential for some events to step to the ground.
