Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche on northwest through north to southeast-facing slopes. You might be able to trigger these avalanches from a distance, and they can grow large enough to bury you, so be aware of steep slopes above you. Look for safer conditions on southwest-facing terrain if you want to travel on steep slopes or simply avoid travel on or underneath slopes steeper than about 35 degrees.
