Points saillants

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist at the mid and upper elevations. Unstable soft and hard slabs two to four feet in depth rest on a variety of aspects and are very sensitive to human triggers. Recently a large slide was triggered remotely by skiers on a northwest facing slope at 9,200 feet. Rising temperatures and sunshine will increase the potential for human triggered and naturally released large avalanches. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
