Avalanche Summary
Avalanche conditions are generally safe as long you have a thick, supportable crust underfoot. If the crust melts during the day, and you are sinking into the snowpack, adjust your route plan and avoid steep slopes.
You are most likely to find unsupportable, wet snow, and a risk of avalanches, on very steep and rocky slopes directly impacted by the afternoon sun.
