The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Hard slabs to 3 feet in depth exist on a variety of elevations and aspects. These slabs lie on old crusts and faceted snow and the potential continues to exist for backcountry users, especially large loads such as snowmobiles, to trigger such slabs on steep slopes and in cliff areas.
