Greatest accumulations will be in steep wind sheltered locations on North-West to North-East aspects above 850 metres. West and East aspects will also be affected. Accumulations will gain in depth and become more widespread during the afternoon when precipitation is heaviest. Fragile cornices will develop above these aspects. Wind exposed slopes will be scoured and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Considerable.
